    Obbie Messakh (born 26 April 1957) is an Indonesian singer and songwriter. he is a descendant of Rote, East Nusa Tenggara. He was known for his songs which were often popularized by famous singers at that time, such as Betharia Sonata and Helen Sparingga. He played a big role in the continuity of the music industry at that time because his songs always skyrocketed on the market.

    Obbie Messakh became popular in the 80s through his song entitled "Kisah Kasih Di Sekolah" ("The Story of Love at School")

    Since childhood he lived and grew up in Jakarta. He played a very important role in creating singers whose names then skyrocketed by performing the songs he created.
