Dr Haseeb Rahman is an NIHR funded Academic Clinical Lecturer in the Cardiovascular Sciences Section, School of Cardiovascular Medicine & Sciences. Dr Rahman received his BA undergraduate degree in medical sciences from Cambridge University in and received his medical degree from Oxford University in He completed his core training in North London and commenced a cardiology NTN in North West London in In , he was awarded a British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Training Fellowship to investigate the mechanisms behind coronary microvascular dysfunction. He was awarded a PhD in and the work has been published in Circulation and JACC journals. He won the British Cardiovascular Interventional Society Young Investigator Award in and was a finalist at the European Society of Cardiology and American Heart Association Young Investigator Award competitions. Following this, he has completed two years as an interventional fellow in North West London and has subsequently been appointed as an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer at St Thomas’ Hospital and KCL. He continues work in the field of coronary microvascular dysfunction and coronary physiology.

I was born in Afghanistan, after finishing school I became a US translator worked and translated for the US army in different sectors such as security logistics and mentorships of the Afghan Army. I moved to US in Texas in and became a sales person for Mister cash wash for over 6 years and currently working as a manager for Apple car wash and working as a Real Estate Agent in Keller Williams.
