What attracted you towards acting?
I did theatre since school days, which put the acting germ inside me. I also used to model during my college days and that’s how I became an actor.
Tell us something about your role in the show Tumhari Paakhi…
The name of my character is Anshuman. He is a very successful businessman; he’s arrogant, he is a show-off, he is somebody who can do anything to keep his reputation intact.
What has been your most challenging role till date?
I did a show Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do in 2015. The show was the story of a sleeper agent from a neighbouring country, who comes to stay with an Indian family and how his heart changes.
What is your mantra of success?
It depends on what success means to you. For some people success is money, for some it is a very good job, for some it is fame, for some it is when your children are doing well, for some it is when you do well for your family, for some it is when you do well for your parents. For me, success is to be happy and content, which is what I am.
How does it feel when you are recognised as a good actor?
People tell me that I am a natural actor and I really feel good after such a compliment.
Which one is your favourite role and why?
I have done lots of shows, have been around for many years.
