The Arthur Ross Gallery was founded in 1983 after New York businessman and philanthropist Arthur Ross offered to establish an art gallery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Located in the Fisher Fine Arts Library building, the gallery advances scholarship, collaboration, and outreach through direct engagement with original art and artifacts. Today, the gallery showcases artwork representing a wide range of cultures, media, periods, and traditions.
